Macadamia Nut Hummus
This dip tastes so much like hummus, we think you can fool anyone with it! Use as a snack, or even lunch. Choose low carb veggies for dipping such as celery, cucumbers, asparagus or a few bell peppers.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup raw macadamia nuts, soaked in water for 24 hours, drained and rinsed
- 1 garlic clove
- 1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 tablespoon tahini
- Pinch cayenne pepper, optional
- Big Pinch sea salt
Instructions
Directions
Add all ingredients to a food processor. Process until smooth.
Keeps in refrigerator tightly sealed for up to 4 days.
Serve with celery, cucumbers, bell peppers or zucchini.
